Flag Fest 2023 Flyer (2)Mark Your Calendars – and KIDS start getting your 5v5 teams ready for our 3rd Flag Fest!
FREE Flag Charity Tournament where ALL KIDS raise $$$ for our neighbors and former players families anonymously who experienced a hardship. Thousands have been raised at the last 2 events, and this years GOAL is $5,000 for 10 families who could use some love.
SUNDAY, JULY 23: Football 4 Families 3rd Charity Flag Tournament at Prospect Park
- Bring your own Flag teams, 5 on 5 format, 20 minute games, 2 game guarantee, no coaches, just kids! FREE & FUN!
- Grades (2nd to 8th)
- Start recruiting teams
- Raise money for local families in need and get the kids outside having some fun!
- It’s all free, but donations will be accepted to help local families in need. Food donated by Mel’s Craft BBQ and Holt’s, Triple Scoop’d, beer *for the parents ;-), and most importantly, good old fashioned play in the park.
- So have your child grab some friends and get them registered!
To REGISTER: Football 4 Families Registration
- Have kids come up with a creative name for their team
- One parent/team manager will register an entire team (up to 6 kids)- form will ask for parent emails
- If you need to add kids to your team at a later date, just have them register and put in the Team Name so we can match them to the correct team or you can just edit the form. We will confirm teams and send out waivers prior to event.

Kerry Wood now coaches baseball at New Trier High School, and was called up to MLB at age 20. He won the rookie of the year with a 3.40 ERA and 12.6 Ks per 9. He also walked 4.6 per 9 and was therefore prone to high pitch counts. ![]()
