SUMMARY:Spirit Cheer Orientation Clinic
DESCRIPTION:ORIENTATION CLINIC\nWe will be kicking off the season with our Spirit Cheer Orientation Clinic on Sat\, Aug 26 from 1- 3pm behind the Maine Park Leisure Center in the large field.  Attendance to the orientation clinic is highly recommended for all participants and mandatory for all coaches.  We will have older cheerleaders from Park Ridge on hand to assist with teaching basic sideline cheers and chants to the squads\, as well as handing out hoodie sweatshirts and poms to each cheerleader.  If your daughter is unable to attend the orientation\, please let her coach know.  Parents will be able to collect their child’s hoodie and poms from their coach at the first practice. \nParents are not expected to stay for the entire clinic\, but please plan to stay for the first half hour as we introduce participants to their squads.  You will also be asked to take your daughter’s hoodie and poms home. Pick up will be promptly at 3pm.

DESCRIPTION:Pre-season Referee Mtg is Monday\, July 3rd at 12 PM at Prospect Park. Mel’s Craft BBQ will be served! Instructions and uniforms will be given out then and there. Prior  experience is preferred – games start week after Labor Day\, ends at Halloween. \nThe Park Ridge Football program provides an opportunity for young men and women to be a youth football referee for our flag football games. Football officiating can provide a person with a sense of pride\, self-respect\, and most importantly\, confidence. \nPark Ridge Football will provide a referee shirt\, flag\, whistle\, and the initial instruction necessary to officiate a football game at our mandatory meeting in July. It is the responsibility of each individual to know and understand the rules of the game\, and to commit to improving their skills. \n7th graders – Associate Referees – for Little Demons Flag Division\n8th to 12th graders – Referees – for all remaining Flag Divisions\nReturning Referees – Umpires – will lead the officiating crews\nAs 1099 referees\, our pay scales starts at $20 per hour long game as an Associate Ref\, then $25 per game as a Ref\, and $35 per game for Returners. \nIf interested in reffing this Fall\, just let Rob Leach know via text at 312-888-0198\, recruit your friends to do it with you\, or simply come on July 3rd at Noon to 1 PM to get our Flag rules\, your ref uniform\, and instructions to register for games in Reftown.

SUMMARY:PRC Varsity Uniform Fittings
DESCRIPTION:Varsity reps will be on hand to measure cheerleaders for new uniforms. \nUNIFORMS\nAll Park Ridge Competitive Cheer athletes are required to purchase their own uniform and cheer shoes. The cost of\nour 2023 competition uniform is approximately $TBD\, which includes the bodysuit top and skirt. The uniform amount\nis due during the custom uniform fitting by Varsity\, which will be held on  June 1\, 2023 from 5-7PM. Park\nRidge Competitive Cheer has an established uniform program whereupon we make a two year commitment to a\nparticular style of uniform. The current 2-year cycle is 2023/2024. Cheer shoe costs vary\, depending on the brand\nand where they are purchased. Cheer shoes must be white. \nDuring the fitting:\n• Wear form-fitting clothing (e.g. leotard\, one-piece swimsuit\, tank top\, shorts\, leggings).

SUMMARY:Spirit Cheer Uniform Fittings
DESCRIPTION:Please have your daughter wear a sports bra or tight fitting tank top and shorts\, as we do not have fitting rooms. \n\nA $50.00 uniform deposit (personal check) is required for every uniform. Your personal check will be returned to you when the uniform is turned back in at the end of the season.  (Returned uniforms must be freshly-laundered and in good condition.) Please make personal checks payable to “Park Ridge Cheer” with your child’s first and last name written in the memo section. Siblings deposits may be combined on one check. \n\nNo cash deposits will be accepted. If you do not return the uniform(s) on the designated uniform return day\, your deposit check will be forfeited. \n\nPark Ridge Spirit Cheer provides each cheerleader with a cheer uniform top and skirt\, pom-poms\, game day hair bow\, and a sweatshirt.   Other items typically needed for the season are black shortie-shorts\, white sneakers\, white socks\, long white sleeve turtlenecks\, and black leggings for those cold weather days. These items are purchased by the participant.

DESCRIPTION:  \nAges: 5-10yrs \nWhen: July 11th-15th; 9am-12:00pm \nWhere: St. Andrews Lutheran Church- Gym 260 N Northwest Hwy \nComponents of the Camp will include: \nStretching: Learning proper stretches for warming up\nCheers: Learning 4-7 cheers\, depending on age group\nJumps: Learning 4 different cheer jumps\nDance: Learning a 30 second – 1 minute dance routine\, depending on age group\nSmall Groups: Participants will split into teams of 7-10\, reviewing jumps\, the dance routine\, and cheers learned. \nParents will be invited to the performance showcase on Friday\, July 15th at 10:30am. Participants should be dressed in\ntheir camp t-shirt and hair bow (provided by the camp). The performance will include:\n All camp cheers (2 cheers)\n Dance level 1\n All camp jumps\n Dance Level 2\n Small Groups Routine\n Dance Level 3 \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:SENIOR TEAM ATHLETES ONLY: PRC Summer Camp is MANDATORY for all Senior Team athletes. PRC has already reserved our athletes’ rooms and paid in full for a 3-day/2-night 2022 Senior Team Camp on June 13-15\, 2022 at Carthage College in Kenosha\, Wisconsin. This additional expense is $400 per Senior Team athlete. No refunds. Parent commitment is understood with acceptance of and registration for the athlete’s team spot. Full payment for camp fees will be due by May 23\, 2022.
