UPCOMING EVENTS!
SEPTEMBER 20TH- PARK RIDGE FOOTBALL NIGHT
“Park Ridge Football Night” at Maine South High School’s Wilson Field on Friday, September 20, 2024 vs Barrington. Attendees will watch the Maine South varsity football game and be recognized as a youth football player or cheerleader in our Falcons Travel Tackle, Flag Football, Spirit Cheer, and Competitive Cheer programs.
We’re expecting a great turnout once again and encourage everyone to review the expectations for the event that will be laid out in an email early next week. As in the past, middle school-aged football players will be invited inside Maine South to watch the pre-game preparations while younger athletes will form a tunnel from the Main Gate of Wilson Field to the northeastern corner of the MS gym. Winter hats, PRFB & Cheer white sponsor t-shirts, and white drawstring bags will be given out between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM in the soccer practice field (same as last year), on the west side of Wilson Field, until supplies last – 1 item per player, first come first serve. ALL athletes wearing their jersey or uniform will be allowed to run across Wilson Field at the START of the game, so in the email next week, we will address where to congregate and adult supervise all children while on MS property, while still providing a unique, one-of-a-kind memory for these kids!
SEPTEMBER 27TH-29TH- HOMECOMING WEEKEND!
PRFB provides pizza for each team & cheerleaders to enjoy post game. Typically, teams have their families bring additional food and drink to share. Usually a parent, or two, will step up and coordinate. There will be picnic tables for each team to gather around after the game. Try to make a big deal of the day for your team. Things that have been done in the past are; hoops to jump through, banners to run through, playing team fight songs, announcing the players on a megaphone, eye black, face paint, team face tattoos, team caravans to the game, etc. Whatever you ultimately decide to do, please don’t delay the start of the game. Most importantly, have fun!!! Teams with Cheerleaders will receive roses to hand out to cheerleaders at halftime. For tackle football please do not paint hair as it can ruin the helmets. Teams with Cheerleaders should have the players and cheerleaders celebrate together. Please refer to TeamSnap and your coach for game times/locations.

PICTURE DAY ORDERING INFO.
Pictures will be taken on the following dates: 9/8, 9/15, 9/24, 9/26 & 9/29. Please refer to the specific email you receive and confirm date/time with your coach!
Individuals- If you can’t make or missed your team pics, you can come take an individual shot anytime during scheduled picture days.
Coaches- If you need a new time slot for your team, the slots shaded green are open. Please reach out to PMI directly at [email protected] to reschedule.

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled picture time to help expedite the process. If you don’t know your scheduled picture time, please check with your coach/teacher. Props will not be provided on picture day. With that being said, please make sure your athlete provides their own.

Refs-
You must REGISTER in RefTown to receive game assignments. You will be confirmed the week of 9/2. Please note that we do not allow self-assign. All games will be assigned by Rob Leach.
If you need a shirt, hat, whistle, or flag please text Rob @ 312.888.0198 your name, what you need and your shirt size. The items will be dropped off at the parks on game day!

Details will be published and explained by August 1st, and all registered girls in PRFB Flag will be given an option to play in the all-girls division or compete in our traditional coed divisions, completely their choice of play.

FALCONS TRAVEL TACKLE FOOTBALL
Competitive travel tackle football program that is focused on ensuring all athletes play football, regardless of their ability, with their friends in a fun and safe environment.
FLAG FOOTBALL
This program consists of 5 divisions participating in non-contact flag football with no weight restrictions, no tryouts or drafts, and REQUIRED equal playing time and position rotations.
COMPETITIVE CHEER
Your child will walk away with advanced cheerleading skills, high self-esteem, and new friends! Our competitive cheer program teaches athletes how to achieve goals and be a part of a team.
SPIRIT CHEER
This program is designed for your child to walk away with good cheerleading fundamentals and new skills, high self-esteem, new friends, and a smile! We are about having fun first!
